We had to do this puzzle, at first I had no idea what the picture was.

I like this picture but I found the puzzle hard to do, it took me over 10 minutes.

Doing Amazing Paint Chalk

Today I was doing some chalk

 and I drew stitch we made paint chalk.

 We made loads of colours there was

 green, blue, pink, red, and yellow,

We made the chalk out of 1/2 cup of tapioca flour and food colouring and 1/2 a cup of water. I really enjoyed this art work. 💛

Favourite Recipe

Ingredients for the dough

• 375 Mls water, 
• 3 T olive oil, 
• ½ tsp salt, 
• 4 1/2 c flour, 
• 3 tsp yeast, 

 For cinnamon sauce 

100gms butter 

½ cup brown sugar  

1 tsp cinnamon. 

Steps

Put in this order into the bread maker and set on dough setting 

Once the dough is done follow Cinnamon Sauce receipe

Soften butter and mix. 

In brown sugar cinnamon 

Roll out dough to a large rectangle 

Spread butter mixture on the dough

Roll up in a log and cut into 12 pieces 

Place in a cake tin or together on a tray and bake for 20 - 30 mins at 180.

Anzac Day April 25

For this task we watched a video about Anzac day. We had to list the 5 W,s. Here is what I found.

Who? Australian New Zealand Army Corps. In this sentence Australian New Zealand Army
Corps stands for ANZAC. A, N, Z, A, C,. isn't that AMAZING! I never knew that but that is really
cool!.

When? Anzac day because  April 25, 1915 they arrived ashore 

Where?  They arrived in Galipoli Peninsula. By boat and they joined the british soldiers.  

What?  They fought for us.

Why? To claim constantinople to let the navy ships in💘

Why did they fight?: they  wanted to let other soldier through and not be mean and
they fighted for a long time  and the number of soldiers that have died was 8,000
soldiers that was real sad😭😭




I'm so proud of the soldiers for fighting for us.

Our task was to find something to stack in alphabetical order. So I chose to stack books. 

I stacked them alphabetically by the first letter in the title or author.

I counted 16 books. These are all personal books from home and some are from the school library.

I was learning about stained glass windows because they are a simble of the church. 

I found it difficult to make the church and cross and the candle.

I enjoyed how good it turned out.

next time I will do a bit more colour.

Where am I?

What I found easy? hiding and camouflaging.
What I found tricky? to breath under the hoddie and to stay still.
What I would do different next time...... to camouflage into a couch.

Easter weekend

On Friday our excellent mum printed out some egg pics to colour.

    

When Saturday came we made easter eggs but we tried making them out of

flax but sadly it did not work so we made it out of paper and it worked!

At night we made hot cross buns for sunday

  

On Sunday we had hot cross buns for breakfast but later we

had a huge breakfast and lunch which was called brunch.

On Monday we went for a swim and had dinner then went

to bed really late.

Easter Tradition in Poland

Smigus-Dyngus (Wet Monday) is a tradition for Easter where men put women in a bath and pour a bucket of water on them. This Ritual is believed to bless the soaked. 

Our tradition in New Zealand is when the Easter bunny comes and we have eggs hunts.

                               

trespass

What I learnt from the story the boys read the trespass sign but did they ignored it and jumped over the fence. The famer but caught them and explained to them the water hole was dangerous and that is why the trespass sign was there. They said sorry to the farmer and offered to help him with the pipe. This is similar to the easter story because the farmer forgave them when they offered to help Him and they learned to obey trespassing signs.

                                                                                     

Senior tryathlon

On the day of the school tryathlon I was nervous but when we got there we had to wait for a huge amount for it to start. We played party-round-the-corner until it was finally time to race and my team was in 3rd place. So I had to swim my fastest.  I saw someone in front of me and I was tired from doing freestyle but my mum and dad said DO FREESTYLE not BREASTSTROKE but I refused i keeped on doing breaststroke and I passed 2 people, it was the best feeling ever. At then I jumped out of the pool I was in the lead and I ran as fast as I could to the finish line.
