Easter Tradition in Poland

Smigus-Dyngus (Wet Monday) is a tradition for Easter where men put women in a bath and pour a bucket of water on them. This Ritual is believed to bless the soaked.

Our tradition in New Zealand is when the Easter bunny comes and we have eggs hunts.

  1. Hi Tessa, you have uploaded an interesting photo here. What is it showing? I had no idea about this different tradition. How many easter eggs did you get this easter? Ka pai, Miss Hickling.
