1. The reef lies between 15 and 150 Kilometers offshore.

2. the great barrier reef is the only living thing on earth that can be seen from space.

3. some types of coral make a poison that has an unpleasant taste for predators

4. the hinge beak shrimp above and the longnose hawkfish below are camo by the coral in the great barrier reef.

5. the humpback whale migrates to the great barrier reef from antarctica.

i am learning all about the great barrier reef and its beautiful creatures that it has. and it can be seen from space!
