Te Kuri a Paoa

yesterday and today we have been drawing with pastel to make this Te Kuri a Paoa art it was really messy and there was pastel on the floor all smudge in and pastel on my face and in my hair. I found it tricking to glue the masterpiece on the white piece of paper and make it straight as possible. maybe i could change next time the shape of the dog and the size of the mountain. Here it is and tell have you ever made one of these pastel art before? please tell me in the comments!

  1. Kia ora Tessa,
Thank you for sharing how you created your art in your post. I can see that it took a lot of time to do each stage.
Blending colours when using pastels is really tricky and can get really messy. I think you have made a good job of using pastels. Ka pai tō mahi!

I really liked how you blend the colours in with the pastel, and also how you added tiny details into your artwork.
I learnt that you found it tricky to glue your masterpiece on the white piece of paper and tried to make it as straight as possible.
Maybe you could explain what you were using to make your artwork next time? Please visit my blog
