All Saints Day!

 Today for the end of the week task we had to do chop chop and for the task that my teacher told me to finish my All Saints Day blog post. I found it easy to make the slide and choose some nice pictures to put on the All Saints Day poster. I found it hard to figure out what I was gonna do for the all saints day. October Reflection

Today is almost the end of the month and our amazing teacher makes us do this Student Reflection Newsletter and we only do it at the end of the month we reflection on the things that are highlights in this month, I found it easy to blog it and make the student reflection newsletter. Frida Khalo Art

 Today we made this frida khalo art and it took some time to make it the nose was hard and then I got Leyla to help me do the nose. Here are 3 facts about frida khalo. Number 1 Frida didn't always want to be an artist. number 2 Frida was six when polio led to disability. number 3 She painted her injuries and disabilities. I hope you liked the 3 facts about her!. I found it easy to blog it and paint it. I found it hard to do the nose. I found it challengeing to do the flowers but then Arabella and Mya helped me do the flowers! here is how my Frida Khalo art turned out!

 Today for reading we were reading this book called rat island and we are learning how to hypothesis and this is how it turned out! I found it easy blog it and write what I was gonna say about it. I found it hard to figure out what I was gonna write for the last bit. I found it challenging to do nothing really it was easy but hard at the same time. I hope you like my hyposthesis

Zombie Apoclypse

 ZOMBIE APOCLYPSE!!! Today for FRIYAY! we got to make FORTS in class we had to bring our own sheets to make it and I brought this big black bed sheet to school it was so much fun! until a chair fell on my head and then like a few minutes later Jake accidently dropped another chair on my shoulder. it really hurt and then camillie was kind enough to run to the office and get me an ice pack!. I fund it easy to make this slide it was very fun to make and listen to the teacher read out the day 1 day 2 all the way to day 5 or 6 we had to survive still friday. I found it hard to think of what we could use for water if there was no avalible water anywhere. I found it challenging to do the task at the start b. Lucklywe survived for the HOLIDAYS!!

September Reflection Newsletter

 Today for TuhiTuhi we had to do our september reflection newsletter! it was fun to make and I like doing these becasue I like going into the school holidays!!. I found it easy to write my Zombie Apocalypse and the '' We're Reading...''. I found it hard to write my speewch because I didnt know how to describe it. Is Mr Wolf Guilty Of First degree Muder

On monday we had speeches's and our teacher said that we had to screen record our selves saying our speech and it took me a few trys to get it right because I kept on messing up in he middle and the starting in Maori. My score from my teacher was 41 and from Jakob R (Go Check out his blog!) it was 35. I was SO close to the semi finals. I found it easy to record it and watch my screen record that I made and I trimed the video a little bit. I hope you like my Screen Castify!

Beatitudes

 Today for Reading we had to do this Beatitudes slide show this took yesterday and today to finish it. It was fun to make and I really enjoyed. I found it easy to make the slides and add the pictures on what I was gonna use for the slide show! I found it difficulte to figure out what to do because it was confusing at first but then when Willow showed me what to do it was easy for me. I hope you like it!

Shapes!

 Yesterday and Today out teacher gave us this scavenger hunt for shapes and we had to put the names of the shapes in maori. And this is how it turned out! there is mulitple slides. I found it easy to take the photo of the shapes and import the photo on to the slide. I found it difficulte to find the shape thats called taparima because there it was no were to be seen in the class room. But then i asked the teacher for some help and then she said to the class "has anyone found taparima anywhere?" and then there was this sience book thast had it. St Francis facts!

 Today for my final lockdown task we had to this house task and im in green house St Francis and heres my facts about him I reseerched some. I found it easy to find the facts and write it down on the slide. I found it hard to make my AMAZING St Francis digital drawing and the hair was hard to make. I found it challenging to figure out what to make the clothes out of and what shapes I needed.  I hope you like it!

 Today for our amazing race task had to do a slide about Brazil I was really annoyed because I didnt know what to do at first but then I got it and then I did the slide. Today for our reading in lockdown we had to do this turtle task and it was fun to make because we had to make a poster on five facts we knew about turtles we could watch a video and got some facts from there or researched it and I researched it and heres the link i got it from >link< if you wanna go check it out!  Today for our writing task in lockdown we had to write about our argument for ''Dogs are better than cats'' and this is how it turned out! Why Dogs Are Better Than Cats

 Today for our reading task we had to watch 2 videos the first one was why cats are better than dogs and the second one was why dogs are better than cats. It was fun to watch the videos. I found it easy to blog it and write why dogs are better than cats. I found it hard to write why cats are worst than dogs. I found it challenging to write the second one for why cats are worst than dogs because i didnt know what to write. My Egg Cracked It didnt Bounce

It didnt bounce it cracked! I knew it was gonna crack anywasy because i did this challenge before and maddi cracked mine and her cracked as well last time we did it. I found it easy to tip the vinagar out and clean my mess off the concret but now it smells. I found it hard to pick up the egg shell because it smelt really horrible i didnt like the smell at all. it was really fun in th end dropping it on the ground. Pen Pal Letter

 Today for our lockdown task we had to do a task that says somthing we did dureing the lockdown pandemic and putting our bestfriends names in this didgital scroll! I found it easy to write what i was gonna say in the scroll on what i did in lockdown. I found it hard to do really norhign because it was just writing about what we did in lockdown and write it who were gonna write it to. Egg And Vinagar Task

Step one of soaking my egg in vingar to make it bouncy egg  it was hard because i had to find a glass that fitted the egg and not waste to much vinagar because there was only a little bit left and maddi had to do it aswell. I found it easy to drown the egg in vingar. I found it hard to find the perfect glasss to put my egg in. And putting it in the glass so it didnt crack. 

Fathers Day Card!!

Sunday 9:00 AM i gonna my dad his fathers day card i hope he likes it. Cause i spent like 5 minutes on this because i kept messing up but in the end it looks so cool!!. I found it easy to colour it and decorate it! i found it hard yo fold the edgees and makie the card. I hope he really likes the fathers day 

Stop Motion Animation!

 Today for our lockdown task we had to do a stop motion!! it was really fun to make but i kept messing up but i continued to try and try again! I found it easy to move the chrarcter and the legs and body on. I found it hard to place my chome book so it was in a good shape. I hope you like it! Outside Task

 Today for our outside task we had to go outside and do soemthing outside like throw a ball or lay on the grass and I choose to lay on the grass because it was the eaiest and quickest task to do for me. I found it easy to find the task I wanted to do I found it hard to set myself up and set the timer where it was supposed to be. I hope you like it!!

Today my reading task was to do 5 facts about cats or dogs and i choose dogs because they are my favrouite animal and here my facts hope you like them!. I found it easy to think about i was gonna choose. I found it hard to find the facts that i was gonna put in it because they'er was so many good facts i could of chosen. 

Jigsaw Puzzle task!

Today for out lockdown task wehad to do a brain puzzle task and it was  asea lion puzzle this si how it turend out!. i found it easy to finsish the puzzle. I found it hard to out the peices together because it was hard and i was getting really annoyed at it so i got my mum to help me and she d=helped me witha little and then i finished it=. i foundit challenegeing to find where the peices went. 

Task Master Camoflage Challenege.

 Today for my task in lockdown we had to do this task master and we had to camoflage and take a video or photo. Can you see me? Have alook and if you cant see me i am in the push in the middle a you can see some of my arm and my legs. I found it easy to find were i was gonna camoflage and and find the outfit. I found it hard to get into the bush and try and get out of it becsause there we're some spikey plants. I found it challeneging to stick my head into the [lant because they we're spikey and it spoked my face and i ahd to close my eyes while i was doing it so i didnt poke my eye.  

Mary Accention To Heaven

 Today we had to do this mary accention and this was our task and our task was to go on this link and it took us to tjis and we could make our poster thing but we had to describe Mary Makillop. I found it ard to find the best looking so i could fit all of the words in. I found it challengeing to do nothing because it was just hard and nothing was really that challengeing.

Robot Task

 For the past few days i have been working on this slide and this how it is! fo reading i have been learning how to infer. It was kind of harfd to choose what my robot was gonna do help. And my one is to help corona virus. I found it easy to make my robot and blog it. I found it hard to figur out what my robot was gonna do to help the world. i found it challengeing to do nothinjg because it was just hard in the end. 

Olympic Games!

 Yesterday for reading and today i have been learning about the Olympics Games! the hardest part of it twas figuring out what was the fourth medal because now there is a fourth medal. My learning for reading was skim and scan if we couldn't find the facts that we needed  we had to fetched it up or ask someone to help us with it. I found it tricky to find the facts for the fourth medal. I found it challenging to do the Olympic Game facts. GameFroot Progress

I guess you could say i have updated my gamefroot. But it has been hard because of the wifi its been really hard to load. So i haven't really done some work on it because like i said of the wifi. Play my game >here<

 Last week and this week i am working on this game and it will take a few days to finish but here is how its going its really hard and i didnt know what to create. And then i finally figured out what to create. I found it easy to create my game. I found it challenging to code it. It was really hard to find the post constantly and the cramera X and the other codes. i found it tricky to make the whole game because there's was so instructions to follow. Today i have worked and i have finished my June Reflection! it was fun too make i really enjoyed it! i found it easy to write my writing and blog it. Also my maths. I found it challenging to write my maths. I found it hard to do nothing because it was a bit easy. My Art!

 A few days back i have worked on this art and i have finished it today. Its took some time. But in the end it was really cool. I found it tricky to paint it and blend the paint. I found it challenging to draw the base and outline. we have used Long brush strokes. both sides of the paint brush. we used bright colors. Bold lines. Maths😁

Yesterday and the day before i have been doing some maths and we had to see how tall we where It was really fun to do i really enjoyed it. I found it easy to measure my partner. I found it tricky to get my buddy to measure me because she was tiny and i was too tall. Here is how it went! hope you guys like it!

Theseus and Minotaur

 Yesterday and today working on this slide for reading. My learning intention is how to infer. Inferring means deduce or conclude (something). I found it easy to blog it. I found it tricky to write what I was going to say and figure out what to put into the box's. I found it hard to do nothing because it was all very easy! How Do Bears Hibernate 🐻 🧸

I have been learning how to use a diagram. I have worked and finished this piece of writing on how do bears hibernate? and its interesting on how bears hibernate. I found it easy to ctrl A ctrl C and ctrl V on to my blog. I found it tricky to write what i was gonna write and to make sure i all made sense. I found it hard to find atopic and figure out the right topic to write about. I enjoyed making a diagram and writing my 3 topic sentences. here is my diagram i have drawn hopefully you like it!

 How Do Bears Hibernate?

Do bears eat or drink while hibernating? Well the answer is no they do not eat or drink when hibernating.

How long do bears hibernate for? Well they hibernate for five to seven months wow! That's a really long time! 

When do bears hibernate? Well they normally hibernate in the winter but why do they hibernate in the winter though? And not in spring or summer? Well they only hibernate in the winter because the pressure for bears is really hard because there is only a small amount of food.

 Yesterday on the day before i have been working on this tapa cloth it was fun to make but it was more fun to colour it. I found it easy to diy it and colour it. Tuesday and today i have been working on this Piskel art. This took some time to do but i finally finished it. If you guys know five nights at freddy's then you might know who this character is. I found it easy to download it and make the white background. i found it hard to make him and put the piskels where they had to be. Maybe i could change next the character.  Today i have been working on the Ascension of jesus we had to make a google drawing. I found it easy to find the pictures i wanted. it was easy to place them i wanted and were it looked good. it hard to find the pictures i wanted. maybe i could change next time the grass and the clouds.

 Yesterday and today i have been working on this slide. it was a bit hard because i forgot some of things of what it was called. i found it easy to find the pictures and put them in the right spot. I found it hard to figure out what was witch. maybe i would change the a last picture.

Bee Bots

 Today i have been working on coding my bee bot. it took a couple of tries to get the bee bot on the number 10. I found it easy to blog it. i found it hard to code the bee bot to get it to the number and land on the number at the right time. maybe i could change next time the place where i filmed and i would say on what i am doing. Sign Language Week

 For the 2 last days i have been working on this screencastify on sign language week it was pretty hard at first because i had to find the letters for my name and learn them off by heart. I have have been learning in reading how to analyse and synthesise. i found it easy to blog it and publish it to my blog. i found it tricky to create the perfect screencastify and find the perfect spot. next time i would change my spot because it was a loud and it was cold. Anzac Day!

Today and yesterday i have been working on a Anzac day activity. I found it easy to write what they did for us to keep our country aotearoa safe so we could have freedom. i found it hard to figure out what they had for course one course 2 and desert and it was a bit hard to draw the war memorial. maybe i could change next time the writing down below. My Culture

 yesterday and today i have been working on my slide witch is my culture and tomorrow i am presenting it to the class. I found it hard to get the facts and figure out what i was gonna do for my facts. Te Kuri a Paoa

 yesterday and today we have been drawing with pastel to make this Te Kuri a Paoa art it was really messy and there was pastel on the floor all smudge in and pastel on my face and in my hair. I found it tricking to glue the masterpiece on the white piece of paper and make it straight as possible. maybe i could change next time the shape of the dog and the size of the mountain. My Lenten promise

 for the past few weeks i have been doing a lenten promise poster. But i lost some of the bits and then i had to draw they rest. I found it hard to draw the triangles and the Almsgiving. i found it tricky to set the camera up and get it in the perfect aim to shoot the shot. maybe i could change the mittens and put it hands and the color. Term 1 2021 Goals!

 Today we were filling out our term 1 2021 goals i enjoyed writing and posting it to my blog as well as finishing it. I found it tricky to find the person i looked like so i looked carefully and read it carefully and so i choose Kahutuanui because it sounded like me. maybe i will do next time i will change maths to writing because i need to improve on my verbs and adjectives. here it is! and what do you have to improve on in your 2021 goals? please tell me in the comments!

I found it hard to record my voice without anybody near me talking or making noise.

for the past 2 weeks i have been collecting data from my friends and here is a graph on how it went and what is your favorite animal dog cat or fish? and here's a link that one of my friends did on how to make one of your own. and play around with it there is so much other graphs. but i just picked the pie graph. 

 

Roz the robot

 today i had to create a drawing or had to build something to make one of these characters there was Roz the robot brightbill the goose or Pink Tail the opossum so i decided to do pink tail the opossum and draw him so here's the drawing. 

i found it easy to think of the image and draw it.

i found it hard to shape of pink tail and the postur of what he was gonna look like and its was a-bit hard to get it in the right aim in the frame.

i could change next time nothing i am very proud of this drawing i like it.

Art - taking pictures

On monday are whole class was allowed to go out and in the bushes we where allowed to take some photos of some pretty trees and plants.

Hi my name is Tessa. I am a Year 6 this year. My favourite activities are playing video games like Roblox and taking my puppy for a walk around the block. 

I am from Saint Mary’s School.

My family is half kiwi and half Brazilian. My dad is from Brazil and my mum is from Wanaka NZ. I was born in Wellington. I'm the little sister and my sibling is the big sister. She was born 2 minutes before me.

I follow what the teacher says and tells the whole class to do and I'm really good at writing and other subjects. My favourite subject is Art because I draw at home and it's like freedom when I do art at school. I love creating masterpieces and painting art. My challenges are getting better at Maths and trying to be sensible around my friends when they tell me to be sensible.
